Board & Train at The Sniffery
Set on a 10 acre ranch equipped with a fully fenced outdoor grass area and indoor training room, your dog will stay and learn with a Karen Pryor Certified Trainer. These board and train programs are intended for dogs 6 months of age and older.
How Does Board & Train Work?
During our 30 minute consultation, we’ll learn about your dog, discuss training goals and methods and align expectations. Dogs that are new to Fearless Tails must have an in person assessment to confirm they are suitable for board and train.
During Your Dog’s Stay
Your dog will get individual training on skills specific to your goals and dog’s specific needs, in 4- 6 training sessions a day. We also make sure they have a great time with sensory enrichment, play, and exploration. Then they’ll dream the night away in a cozy environment with their trainer onsite and just a few steps away.
For the safety of all our guests, all dogs will receive private training and play time with their trainer. No more than 3-5 dogs are booked at any time.
Our outdoor spaces are all fenced, and walks around the property will be conducted on leash only. As an additional safety measure, your dog will be provided with a Tractive GPS locator for their stay. E-collars, choke, prong and martingale collars are not permitted.

Ready to set up your dog’s stay?
I had used a trainer in the past and spent a lot of money, only to have no success. My experience with Fearless Tails was the total opposite. I believe that the course reinforced my bond with Edgar and strengthened our communication. Tasha wants to see your dog succeed as much as you do, her flexibility allows for adapting training activities to move at your dog’s pace and comfort level. I cannot say enough good things about Fearless Tails program and Tasha’s level of professionalism and skill! I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a positive training experience that will produce results.
Essential to a well-adjusted, happy, & confident dog.
In an unregulated industry such as dog training, it’s important to understand the facts around methodology and the effects on your dog’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Both the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior have released statements addressing the benefits of humane training methods, and the unintended fallout of more “traditional” methods.
